How can I make my characters and dialogue side by side on the page?
Answer
This is called Dual Dialogue.
Type the character names and dialogues in normally.
Place your cursor in the first character name.
Choose Format > Dual Dialogue (or on Mac hit Command+D on the keyboard):
The two pieces of dialogue will be aligned side by side:
